The Broad Run High School Parent, Teacher, Student Organization is the supportive arm of the BRHS ad What does the PTSO do? We coordinate many events including hospitality, Teacher Appreciation Week, Scholarship Committee, Spring Fundraiser, and Restaurant Spirit Nights.

The BRHS Project Graduation Committee will be holding their 1st Annual Great Holiday Cookie Walk on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Fitwize 4 Kids in Ashburn. Santa will be our special guest and we will be having holiday music to get everyone into the season. This event will be open to the public.
To make this event successful, we need your help! We need volunteers to BAKE AND DONATE 6 Dozen of their favorite holiday cookies and donate them to the event.
The event will start at 9am on December 2nd and a variety of home-made holiday cookies can be purchased for just $9 a pound. All proceeds will benefit Broad Run High School Project Graduation 2018!
Cookies will be need to be delivered on either December 1st or by 8am on December 2nd. You can either put them on a platter or place them in a container. However you bring them to us, please make sure to put your Name on the back of the container/tray so we can get return it to you. Additional delivery information will be emailed to you prior to the event.

This summer, Catalyst Prep's Founder & CEO, Jared Friedland, will be leading a special online prep course for students looking to learn SAT & ACT strategies from an unparalleled expert.

We are still in need of volunteers to help out on both 11am - 2am shift the 2am - 5am shift on June 11th/June 12th!
We are short 6 volunteers on each shift! If we don't get the volunteers, we will have to reduce the number of activities we have planned for the new graduates!

This is a great event for our graduated seniors and it's one of the most awarding events you will volunteer at it by helping keep our new graduates safe on graduation night. And...we have lots of coffee and ice tea to help you stay away!

Spartan College Night Tuesday @ 7 PM in the BRHS Auditorium. Parents and students in all grades welcome. College reps from JMU, UVA and more!
The BRHS World Connect Club is sponsoring a fundraiser this week called "Hope for Haiti". They are collecting school supplies and selling baked goods throughout the school days to raise money for orphanages and schools in Haiti. School supplies needed include pencils, pens, erasers, crayons, and chalk. These supplies can be dropped in the box located in the main office at Broad Run.

Broad Run is hosting its annual Color Run/5k which is a fun, healthy way to get exercise and make an impact in the Ashburn community and beyond. The race will help to raise money and awareness for the National Meningitis Association in honor of Madison Small, as well as the Madison Small Scholarship fund and Shelterbox. Every Year the Art I students amaze us with their art skills - and this year is no exception. This Collabortive Art Piece, measuring 12x18" of former president Barack Obama is a masterpiece!
Collaborative Art is done by an entire BRHS Art 1 class - each student is given a 1x1" piece of an image and asked to enlarge it to a 3x3 inch square while learning and practicing enlarging, paint mixing and painting techniques. They paint values/colors as accurately as possible. Then all the pieces are lined up to create a very unique finished piece.
