With soaring temps in our town this week, there’s no better escape than curling up indoors with a good book.

This former formal living room was reimagined as the ultimate lounge: opened-up walls, striking built-ins, and cozy seating made for solo reading or relaxed gatherings.

It's a curl up with a book kind of day in my town...what about yours?

This swanky spot hits all the right notes: fire, earth & air- the perfect spot to enjoy a book by the fire, the view out to the course, or soak up the elements in the space.

What once was a blah space, became truly special thanks to a custom fireplace surround, timeless sconces, new door to invite in light & views, and a few meaningful personal touches.

Happy unofficial start of summer!

I don’t know about you, but I’m yearning for the simplicity of the season-soaking up long days and starry nights in a carefree space.

This heritage cottage, thoughtfully transformed for the next generation, embraces simple easy materials, repurposed family pieces, and doses of IKEA to create a dreamy carefree space. Less is certainly more.

What greets you when you start your day?

Your surroundings set the tone—calm, chaotic, or something in between.

A glimpse behind this pocket door reveals a serene primary bath where layered lighting, warm wood tones, and tonal textures come together to create a refined retreat.

This space underwent a complete transformation—from a cramped and awkward layout to an open, airy, spa-like sanctuary.

Subtle is sexy… Why reveal everything when a little mystery is far more intriguing?

This renovation transformed much of the home, focusing on streamlining and brightening its spacious yet awkward layout. In reimagining the kitchen, we cleverly concealed the existing walk-in pantry—delivering all the function we needed within a beautifully seamless design. Less really is more, don’t you think? As we all huddle inside during this frigid weather, I can’t help but think about how we can create warmth and comfort—even when the odds are against us.

A two-story room is grand. It’s bold. It commands attention. But it can also feel cold, overwhelming, and cavernous. So, how do you transform it into a space that feels inviting and cozy?

As the first thing you see upon entering this home, this space needed to make a statement—setting the tone while remaining warm, welcoming, and family-friendly. It had to accommodate lively conversations, relaxed TV nights, and quiet moments alike.

By layering textures, incorporating varied shapes, and embracing a soothing color palette—all anchored by a beautiful yet budget-friendly rug (because spills and pet messes shouldn’t cause panic!)—this space radiates coziness all season long.
