It is Monday 🌞and for all our people out there sitting at their desk from 9-5 get up and give this exercise a try. It is guaranteed to give you more motion!
Today Dr. Andre is addressing those people with a dull ache to the hip/low back region.
Individuals often roll and stretch the hip muscles for temporary relief; but Dr. Andre will reveal to you that this is only treating a symptom. The true problem is at the front part of the hip. Listen to the video below and let us know if it was helpful for you.

Happy National Dog 🐕🐕day to our sweetest companions Wally and Jax!! ❤️❤️❤️
If you are suffering from long-standing hip pain this may be the stretch for you.

We are thankful for another day.
Another day of health.

“Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the breath of each soldier who died protecting it.”

The pic says it all!We are ready to serve with a few changes made for your safety. We have always been a small one to one treatment facility that focuses on providing the best care for those we serve. We will in addition be following the CDC recommendations.
Time to get up and move!
Great exercise for overall core stabilization.

“According to your faith be it unto you.” (Matthew 9:29)
Great exercise for those individuals who over use their backs and hip flexors with activities such as running, walking, hiking and other dynamic activities.
***Be aware you may have difficulty performing this exercise if you lack mobility of the low back and hips. Be sure to maintain a neutral spine throughout the exercise. If you want we will be willing to get on a video chat with those who need coaching through the movement😉.***
Self stretch of the 1st rib on order to help resolve that stiff painful neck. Let us know how it goes.
Great exercise to improve range of the shoulders and upper back. We added some modifications for people who are not very flexible like Dr. Heletsi 😂.

What a great day to remember that we are loved so much! When we are hurt by the people and things on this earth; it is a wonderful reminder that our Eternal Father has sacrificed so much for us.
We at Missing Link are thankful for all of you we call family and will continue pray for all of those during these difficult times.
This is a great total body stretch. We use it mostly to improve mobility of the upper back and rib cage but you also get benefits to the lower half. Give it a try and let us know what you think 🤔 in the comments.
Great exercises for those who are experiencing upper back/ neck stiffness or pain. Sitting at home doing work on your computer can’t be helping. Try these exercises and let us know how it goes.
In part 2 video of Hip Pain, we are focused on hip stability. Hope you all enjoy!
The video describes stretches to relieve pain the hip that is often experienced with prolonged sitting, standing, running, hiking or even picking up the toys that the kids leave on the floor.
Do these exercises and let us know how it goes.

So happy to be blessed with a wonderful person
Her treatment is a great example of how dynamic the body is. Unresolved pain to the right knee after a sprain months ago. We discovered that she had an underlying restriction in the back that was preventing further healing. After making the appropriate adjustments to her back we saw a significant improvement in her hip stability in the one session.
Soccer ⚽️ players are plagued with knee injuries due to lack of hip stability which ultimately places stress on the knees. By improving her hip stability she is now able decrease the degree of inward collapse of the knees. We are on the road to preventing future injury and enhancing her overall game!
This exercise is a great way to improve shoulder mobility, upper back mobility and shoulder blade stability.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

This is why we are the “Missing Link!” Why do we say this?! Because we get to go above and beyond to changes the lives of others. Read the story below...
Today we had the pleasure of treating a patient who came in with a prescription of balance training for 2-3 times a week. At 89 years old he showed no real balance issues and has never fallen. After running a few balance tests we deemed him not requiring balance training at all. The question still looming is what does he feel unsteady? With a closer look we found restrictions to his neck and upper back. Later to find out that he also had complaints of having difficulty putting his shoes on because he cannot bend forward. As a result we worked on his neck, middle and lower back and he was able to reach his shoes. As a result of the increased mobility he also had increased stability with walking and transfers. In summary his overall tightness decreased his base of support giving him less stability with walking and moving. The point is that we don’t just 🛑! We always continue looking for the cause. Today we were able to change someone’s life because we listen and work hard to the source. Instead of 2-3 times a week of PT we are no going to see him 2x/ month which preserves his Medicare 💵 💥
If you know anyone that needs a life changing experience, send them our way!! Thanks for sharing your special guy with us❤️❤️

Thank you for having Dr. Heletsi over for a workout (hope he will be able to work tomorrow 😂). Great facilities require great trainers who are attentive to technique and able to make modifications for those who need it. That’s what this environment is all about . Great job !!

Dr. Heletsi had the chance to provide treatment to his niece. Her mom is so diligent on optimizing her overall health. Kimi who is perfectly healthy had a few kinks that were limiting her movement at times. Dr. Heletsi was able utilize a combination of visceral manipulation, manual therapy and exercise to resolve of her kinks. The point of the story is that you are never to young to make sure everything is moving well. Remember prevention is better than cure. All of us can use a tune up 🚗. 🤣
This story is a great example of how we look for the source of an injury even though the patients complaints may be elsewhere. As Functional Physical Therapist we specialize in providing HOPE to individuals with longstanding orthopedic issues by finding the cause. Keep your eyes 👀 on alert 🚨 for my upcoming patient stories.
Short video simply describing what visceral manipulation is and how we as Physical Therapist use it in practice. Manipulation of the internal organs can effect various orthopedic injuries. A lot of the time it can be the
Fun all-in-one core, hip, knee, and ankle stability exercise. He is 8 weeks post-op total knee replacement. His body is required to adjust and adapt to the constantly changing force in all directions.
We followed this with ladder drills and a series of single leg balance activities. He's absolutely crushing it!
We love getting creative with exercises to keep our patients on their toes!

Introducing Dr. Meredith Huey!! .huey
Don’t get confused, we have introduced her already to the team but this post is meant to give her a big shout out for all her efforts over the past 4 months.
Dr. Huey’s energy, warmth, empathy, knowledge and clinical growth has shown significant changes in all who come her way. She analyzes movement and creates the right plan for the patient.
Cheers 🍻 to you Dr. Huey!!! The skies the limit for you. Those you treat are blessed to have you.

This pic right here shows the exhaustion of our Physical Therapists after a long day of patient care.
What makes Missing Link so special? It is the fact that we get to spend one to one hour sessions with our patients. In that time we get to know them by hearing their vulnerabilities and also sharing ours. We have built community. Knowing our patients at this deep level helps us to understand them better so that we can achieve their goals. Knowing them better helps understand their emotional and mental state so we can prescribe the right treatment at the right dosage.
We are so blessed to be able to serve those who have lost HOPE about a long-standing injury or illness.
What is your story??!! We are ready to hear it at Missing Link Physical Therapy. ❤️❤️
This is another variation to an exercise we performed a few posts ago. This is great for abdominal stabilization in standing (for those who cannot get on their hands and knees). Try it and leave a comment below 👇
Don’t miss this event!! This Saturday we are taking time to give thanks for all of our blessings🙏🏾. This is the time where we spoil our loyal clients, open the door to those who need help and can’t find it and give back to organization , . Come support one or all the causes.
