Last Sunday, Pastor Jeffrey from Destiny Church delivered a compelling sermon helping us focus on HIS presence in our present, so we may see and speak differently. Ladies' Gathering at The Barns

Our Ladies Gathering will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, September 17 for a time of food, laughter, and fellowship!

WHERE: The Barns at Hamilton Station Vineyards

BRING: - Food! (They allow us to bring outside food in, so feel free to bring some snacks! They also have some light fare for purchase on the premises.)

This Sunday, September 11th, we are blessed to hear from Jeffrey Goodman, lead Pastor and Elder of Destiny church located in Leesburg Virginia. Pastor Jeffrey is returning home from a 2-3 week mission trip to both Dubai and Ethiopia. We look forward to hearing more about his trip and how God is moving in these countries and at Destiny Church. We invite you to come out and bring a friend this Sunday, September 11th at 5pm as we welcome Pastor Jeffrey to our community.

School Supplies Collection at BridgeFeeds

Last year’s school supply drive was a huge success with our Bridge Feeds families, so we will again collect supplies to support needy families who have children in all grades of Loudoun County Public Schools. While you are out shopping over the next few weeks, please consider picking up some extra supplies for our Bridge Feeds families.

Suggested Items:
Colored markers, Colored folders, Wide-ruled/college-ruled notebook paper, Binders, Pencils, Pens, Colored markers, Colored pencils, Erasers, Glue sticks, Crayons, Backpacks, Highlighters, Index cards, Spiral notebooks, Tissues, Blunt/sharp school scissors, etc.

Please drop your items off on Sundays during church service, or on Mondays between 9-11am or 5-7pm, when BridgeFeed volunteers meet. We will distribute the school supplies in early September.

Below you will see funeral arrangements for Jessica Chavez, who passed away last Saturday. She had battled cancer for many years, and was a dear part of our BridgeFeeds family.

Her family from Peru is in town, and the funeral will be Saturday, Sept 10th, at 10am at St. Bridget Church in Berryville (1024 W Main St, Berryville, VA 22611 - a bit of a drive if you want to carpool).

Division, Rumors and Potential Civil War!!

This Sunday we return to the book of Joshua to review chapters 13-22. God’s kingdom is quickly expanding. Israel is conquering cities, defeating Kings, and dividing up the land among the 12 tribes of Israel. But one rumor brings this once tight community to the brink of civil war.

Join us this Sunday at 5pm, at Mt Hope Pavilion, as we dive into scripture to understand God’s perfect timing, and apply His key principles so we can live out Matthew 5:13-16, and be the salt and light of the earth.

Dear BCC!
I am overwhelmed at the response I have received from this past Sunday’s message. I want to thank Pastor Will and Brian for giving me the pastoral privilege to share what God is putting on my heart to share with you all. The purpose of this little brief is to share a little snippet of what the upcoming message will be about - a teaser of sorts; however, I have some good and bad news for you.
Bad news - He has not shared his instructions with me yet!
Good news - at some point during this week - He will, he always does!
All I can tell you at this point is that I have my ear to the mouth of God, waiting for him to say what he wants me to say.

GOD'S PROVISION

God is always making provision for his people. I (Pastor Smith) assert that!
We often times take such provision for granted, as we sometimes (if not most of the time) are not keenly aware of how God is divinely orchestrating some of the smallest details of our life behind the scene; he is even weaving our mistakes and mishaps into his masterplan to produce a masterpiece that would bring glory to the Messiah!
I invite you to come out and bring a friend on Sunday at 5pm, and hear a few observations I will make from Joshua 20 and 21, as we continue our exploration of the Book of Joshua.

When God Takes His Dear Sweet Time
