Bit of a pride moment to share:
Number #1 lesson I provided my students in our Basics of Programming class - Read the problem statement "several times" before you attempt any solution. Of course I may not be the only instructor to share this mantra with them but do take a bit of pride when My daughter (4th grade) told me yesterday that she got 100% on her Math test because she did read the problem statement on a tricky question "multiple times". Apparently, a lot of kids missed on it...
Feels like a true enrichment and a core value to me, regardless of field, a first success story!

Create Games to Solve Problems | Kedar Narayan | [email protected]
This is an amazingly true and motivating story recently shared with me, and couldn't resist sharing further -
I was fascinated by the story of a 8 year old inventor named Kedar Narayan the “Little Code Ninja,” who invented Storibot, a board game that teaches the visually impaired how to code. You can check out Kedar’s TEDxYouth talk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNoqhlWqrv0) to learn more about his work.

3 week journey so far and kids (ranging from Fourth grade to Tenth) seem to be rollicking well...
Our biggest compliment from our students thus far:
What time is the class today? What are we going to learn in our next?
Seems like they have "started" to like us! Well, yeah it's OK to admit the first comment received after the first class of course was "It's boring".
It didn't take us long to understand the real meaning of "Agile". Since then our focus is "a-week long Sprint" only. Find it satisfactory now that our "stakeholder views" are gradually changing towards good... these kids are undoubtedly smart, honest and are prompt in their reviews. We are so happy to have them as our customers! Feel like those are some good lessons learnt for our corporate culture as well! What do you guys think?
