Ashburn Veterinary Hospital will be closing today, Saturday, August 21st at 12:30PM 🐾

Effective Monday August 9, 2021 through Friday August 13, 2021 the hospital will be closing at 5:00pm. We have a few members on our team experiencing some symptoms related to COVID-19 and we are taking extra precautionary efforts by having them remain off work until we know it is safe for them to return.
This has left the hospital in a position where we are currently short staffed. We have asked clients with appointments for the remainder of the week to change over to curbside to allow less exposure to the remaining staff in the hospital.
We apologize for the inconvenience. This has been a crazy year for the hospital and the team. We are making every effort to continue to be able to provide care to our patients in a safe manner while keeping staff safe. Please reach out the hospital manager if you have any questions or concerns.

There is a lost cat in the Belmont community. If seen or found, please call or text: (571) 919-1780.

Olive was the SWEETEST girl at her first appointment today! ❀️

We are excited to announce effective Monday, July 12, 2021 we will be opening our hospital to welcome our patients and clients inside for their scheduled appointments. In order for us to safely practice social distancing in the building, we are limiting the amount of in-person appointments during this first phase of re-opening.
1. We ask that all clients call and check in with our team upon arrival so that we are able to maintain safe distancing at all times. All technician appointments will remain curbside at this time, as well as anyone needing to pick up any products or medications from the hospital.
2. We will continue to speak with our clients over the phone to obtain history and give you an opportunity to express any questions or concerns that need to be addressed during the appointment. Once we have the information and complete check in, a staff member will come out to your car and es**rt you into your designated room (Euthanasia appointments are the only exception to this rule).
3. We are requiring that anyone entering into the building wear a mask that covers both your nose and mouth despite vaccination status. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you, and it must be worn for the entirety of your visit.
4. We ask during β€œin-person” appointments that only one family member es**rt the pet/pets into the building. In the event we are seeing multiple pets from the same household we will have adequate staff available to accommodate those instances. It is unfortunate, but the size of our exam rooms will not accommodate more than one person while maintaining safe distancing.
5. Our curbside service will remain in place indefinitely for anyone who would prefer to utilize this service. Please just let us know.
6. If you have an β€œin-person” appointment please make sure you arrive on time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, the appointment will automatically be switched to curbside or you will have the option to reschedule to another day.
We greatly appreciate all of the care and concern you have shown our staff and doctors over the past 16 months. We have missed you and we are excited to be able to welcome you back into our hospital. If you have any questions or concerns about out new protocol please call our hospital during normal business hours.

Happy 4th of July! β€οΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ’™
