Information for community residents. Belmont Greene Community is a Traditional Neighborhood Designed community in Ashburn, Virginia.
The residents of Belmont Greene strive toward making their community become the quintessential American village; a traditional neighborhood offering the charm of an era gone by. The community iss a mix of single family homes, townhouses, parks, and a community center with pool. The community is adjacent to Stone Bridge High School and walking distance to Belmont Ridge Elementary School and the W&OD Trail. The Board of Directors meet at the community center the second Tuesday each month at 7pm.
Belmont Greene Community,
The Belmont Greene Board of Directors extends its sincere and deepest appreciation to the Loudoun County Fire & Rescue System, Loudoun County Sheriffs Office, American Red Cross, and all other organizations who responded to the devastating fire on March 29, 2022 that affected several homes on Nashua Street in Belmont Greene. Their heroic efforts and quick response to combat this fire, under extremely cold and windy conditions, saved lives and reduced the potential damage to adjacent homes in the community. The Belmont Greene Board of Directors is grateful for the efforts and readiness of Loudoun County's first responders and the ongoing support provided by the American Red Cross to support the survivors.
The Belmont Greene Board of Directors and community will continue to support the impacted families in our community over the weeks and months ahead, while they recover and rebuild from this disaster. The Board encourages the community to support the families who have experienced this devastating fire and loss of a family member in any way possible, and for those able to, contribute monetarily to assist these families with immediate needs and by supporting these families during the rebuilding process. Belmont Greene is a tight-knit community that has already shown extraordinary support to these families immediately following the fire.
Additional discussion regarding recovery support for the BG community and support for Loudoun County Fire & Rescue and the American Red Cross is scheduled during the April Belmont Greene Board Meeting.
Sincerely,
Belmont Greene Board of Directors
To Belmont Greene community members who want to support your neighbors following the devastating, early morning fire on Nashua Street — Julie Harris is working with neighbors on lower Nashua Street to collect cash and cash cards to support immediate needs of our displaced neighbors.
Post from Julie Harris:
Hello fellow BG friends! For those of you who don't know me, I have lived in the BG community for almost 20 years on Nashua St. and have worked with the elementary and middle school PTA for years. I am currently working with my lower Nashua St. neighbors to coordinate efforts and assist those that were impacted from last nights fire. Neighbors have been in touch with all four families who have been displaced either last night or tonight and at this time we would like to be able to get at least $500 worth of gift cards to each of the four families within the next 48 hours if possible. Although money donated through funds is helpful there is generally a delay to receive those funds. So at this time we are asking you to donate VISA/Mastercard Gift cards, Target or Walmart cards so they can get a variety of things they may need immediately. I will collect gift cards at my house 42948 Nashua St. and with the assistance of our wonderful neighbors we will get them to the families so they have something immediately. As needs are assessed, and there are other ways we can help, we will share those plans with you. If you would like to donate cash, Chick Fil A at the GW location is also offering to collect money for the Belmont Greene Fund. They have been supportive of our school community and have also been residents at one time or another and want to help. If you have questions regarding drop off you can message me directly through FB. Thank you for your outpouring of love and concern for our community. It has been heard and felt.

Belmont Greene Residents,
Our Snow Contractor US Lawns has been clearing and treating all streets and alleys today. It has been brought to our attention that several homeowners are using snow blowers and blowing the snow/ice into the streets and alleys that have already been cleared by the Snow Removal Contractor.
STOP: By creating additional work for the Snow removal contractor you are increasing the cost of the snow removal for the entire community. Be considerate of everyone while clearing your sidewalks.
Thank you,
