Yesterday we got word that we had lost one of our own. Katy Tyrrell Reed was a true community builder. Her time and her talents were dedicated to her family and to helping others. She spent countless hours volunteering for causes close to her heart, and she fit like a warm glove on the Loud & Clear team because of her big heart for service. She was a delight of a person, lighting up the room with her smile and positive affirmations. For those of us who had the pleasure of knowing her, the world has indeed lost a shining light, making today dimmer in every way.

We send our deepest condolences to her family and dear friends. Katy certainly made an impact with the life that she lived. Today, we honor that life of service and the positive force for good that was Katy. She will be missed.

You're never too old to do big, scary things! Lorraine Gerson had a wish for her 80th birthday - to make her long-held dream to skydive come true! Our client, Cadence Olney partnered with AARP's Wish of a Lifetime to grant Lorraine's wish. Lorraine was understandably a little nervous, so Cadence at Olney brought a busload of her friends from their community to cheer her on!

Lorraine's story originally aired on ABC7 earlier this week, but her story has brought a smile to audiences throughout the country, and has been picked up by multiple media outlets. This morning, Lorraine even made it on Good Morning America!

It was a privilege to partner with Cadence at Olney and Cogir Senior Living to celebrate Lorraine. Sometimes we all need a reminder that it's OK to do it afraid.

In a heartfelt tribute to the heroes of 9/11, our client Cadence Olney, a senior living community, delivered lunches to local first responders to show appreciation for their ongoing service and dedication to their community. Staff and residents, some of whom were present at the Pentagon, came together to recognize the brave men and women who protect us every day, marking the anniversary with gratitude and compassion.

Did you know our company started as Loudoun Clear Marketing? Founded in 2012 by Sharon L. Wright, Loudoun Clear Marketing was named after Loudoun (pronounced Loud-UN) County as a play on words that describe what we deliver for each one of our clients: marketing campaigns that get the right message to the right people at the right time.

As we expanded into other areas - and as people questioned how to say Loudoun - we realized it was time to change to a name that would make sense to businesses across the country. So, in 2020, we made it official, and changed our name to Loud & Clear Marketing.

No matter how far we expand, Loudoun County, VA will always be home! We have so much gratitude for the many Loudoun County businesses and nonprofits that have entrusted us with their marketing needs over the years.

Local WWII Veteran remembers mission 79 years after atomic bomb was dropped 08/26/2024

As digital storytellers, our job is to learn everything we can about the people involved in your business, as well as the products and services you offer, so we can craft exciting ways to generate attention for your business in the media.

Recently, our team was honored to be a part of sharing the story of the last living member of the 509th Composite Group, the squadron that was hand-picked to drop the atomic bomb on August 6, 1945. In an interview with ABC 30 Action News, Norris Jernigan looks back on the decision to drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Jernigan believes that, although devastating, dropping the bomb brought about the end of WWII much sooner and with fewer casualties than would have resulted without that action. He hopes that people will remember what was done was not done sadistically, but to bring a horrible war to completion.

Norris now enjoys living at Quail Park on Cypress in Visalia, CA, where he serves in leadership positions and works hard to enrich the lives of the residents.
