We have partnered with Loudoun County Heroes Hockey (LCH2) to bring you this event and all proceeds will benefit First Responders, Civil Servants, Veterans and Disabled Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces in the local community.

The day will begin with a Noon shotgun start and your registration includes your round of golf (scramble format), golf cart, dinner, beverages, and team & individual prizes.

Calling all Disabled Veterans! If you want to participate in the USA Hockey Disabled Hockey Festival Warrior Divison in Pittsburgh, PA April 7-10 with the Ashburn Veterans, please email [email protected]. Must be Active Duty or a Veteran with a 10% or greater VA rating, Pending a rating, or a Purple Heart Medal recipient to participate in this event.

2nd Annual New Years Eve Classic Adult Hockey Tournament

Ring in the new year with your closest hockey buddies. Ion will host a 3-v-3 Pond-Style hockey tournament on Friday, December 31st. We will have 4 divisions: A/B, C/D, 50 plus, and Novice. Teams are limited to 7 players, and guaranteed a minimum of four pond-style games (half-ice, pond nets, no lines, no goalies, 20-minute running clock games).

Cost = $400/team

Overview:

3 player min 7 Player max, no goalies
3 vs. 3 Half Ice, pond nets used
Each game is one 20 min running clock period
4 Game Guarantee
Teams receive 3 points for a win and 0 for a loss, 0 for ties. Teams are ordered by points, then goals against, then goals for (ascending).

This Tournament will be operated by the Ion Adult Hockey League (IAHL)
All Teams Must be comprised of USA Hockey Members with a valid 2021/22 USA Hockey number (Rosters will be requested after you register your team)

The Ashburn Veterans are taking the Warrior team to the USA Hockey Warrior Classic November 4-7 in Voorhees, NJ. We are short a couple of players and could use a few more. The criteria: Local player (local to Northern, VA), Active Duty or Veteran, VA Disability rating of 10% or higher or a Purple Heart Medal. The Ashburn Veterans are taking a Warrior Team to the USA Hockey Warrior Classic in Vorhees, NJ November 4-7. We still have slots available but are running out of time to submit our roster. This event is for Veterans with a 10% or greater disability rating from the VA or a Purlple Heart Medal. If you are interested in playing with us for this event please register at the attached link. The LCH2 has two Veterans teams participating in the Ion Adult Hockey League. There is room for a few more players on the Veterans C and the Veterans D team. It is a 20 game season and we are looking for Hockey Players that are Veterans or Active Duty. The cost for a full time position for the season is $300 and $125 for part time players (5 game guarantee for part time). The Ashburn Veterans Ice Hockey D Team will take on the Barricaded Shooters tonight for the IAHL D Division Championship at the Ion International Training Center, Ion Rink. Puck Drop is at 9:50pm, Join us in the stands and at Lu's Bar to enjoy the game and root for the Vets! Jarrod Wronski will be scoring and announcing the game at Ion tonight!
