Anna Ko, Van Aken Product Manager, shared what impressed them the most about this piece:

⭐ Great use of multiple cane work working together in a 3d mindset
⭐ Strong sense of unity and color balance
⭐ The inside of the bowl was treated the same as the outside, allowing the viewer to see the artistry of the canes as form and not just a veneer.

My first show of the season is this weekend. April 1-2. It is in the mosaic district of Fairfax. It should be a great show with many talented artists. I’m excited to be a part of it. Please come out and see me in booth 105.

Saturday at Potomac Green . They did an awesome job of promoting this smaller show and tons showed up. Thanks to everyone who put this show in Ashburn.

Second show in the books. Now to make more and replenish. My next show will be this coming Saturday at Potomac Green in Ashburn, Va in the clubhouse there. Then on November 19th and 20th I will be at the Fairfax hiliday show. More details to follow.

First craft festival in the books. Manassa Fall Jubilee was a success. Big crowds(and one very large dog), and a surprise visit from my cousin. A bit cold outside but the day just zipped by. Now I will sleep for three days.
