Here are some tips on how to cope with the financial stress due to COVID-19 Pandemic.

Manage your financial budget carefully

Control your expenses by carefully minimizing them to essentials only, such as mortgage, rent, food, insurance and utilities. In case you are unable to pay, request your creditors to reschedule it for you or waive any possible late fees in case you pay late. Avoid placing any unnecessary orders online that may create an extra financial burden on you.

Lost your Job?

The unemployment rate of America until April 2020 reached 14.7%, if you lost your job and did not file your unemployment yet, go to careeronestop.org to go to link to your state’s unemployment insurance website to check the details on your state’s program. Federal Government has added $600 a week until July 31. You need to apply immediately for unemployment as there is a lag time until you receive your 1st pay check.
