Hi All,

Since our opening in 2014, management has been able to maintain the current fees even though expenses keep rising every year. Because of this, we have been very successful in generating interest in the community. Since there is an increasing demand for smaller crowd sizes, management is urged to rethink NVBC’s business model. As a result, we have come up with a new pricing model that we think will better serve the community. The new prices below will take effect on December 1, 2020.

Thanks all for your understanding.

Hello Fellow Shuttlers,

Yea!!! NOVA has entered Phase 3 on July 1st. NVBC is working to transition to Phase 3 reopening by Monday, July 13th in which the facility will be opened to non-annual members as well. In following the Governor's Guidelines (https://www.governor.virginia.gov/media/governorvirginiagov/governor-of-virginia/pdf/Forward-Virginia-Phase-Three-Guidelines.pdf), we will continue to practice DISTANCING, MASKS and SANITIZING. The goal is to have the members come in with people they know, play among themselves and then leave. Congregation off the courts should be avoided.

A separate email with instructions on how to book courts will be sent out soon.

DISTANCING, MASKS and SANITIZING.

Our ability to remain opened requires the selfless cooperation of everyone. We encourage the following:

1. You must self-screen yourself according to VDH guidelines (https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus/vdh-interim-guidance-for-daily-covid-19-screening-of-employees-and-visitors/). If you have any of the following symptoms, you cannot enter NVBC:
- A fever or symptoms of COVID-19, or known exposure to a COVID-19 case in the prior 14 days.
- A new fever (100.4°F or higher) or a sense of having a fever
- A new cough that cannot be attributed to another health condition
- New shortness of breath that cannot be attributed to another health condition
- New chills that cannot be attributed to another health condition
- A new sore throat that cannot be attributed to another health condition
- New muscle aches (myalgia) that cannot be attributed to another health condition or specific activity (such as physical exercise)

2. Play on the court you reserved and with people you came with.

3. Keep a distance of 10 feet when possible.

4. Avoid congregating off the courts.

5. Wear masks when entering and exiting the facility.

DISTANCING, MASKS and SANITIZING.

Fight the virus by EXERCISING!!!!

Stay Healthy,
Kendrick

Hello Members,

There is light at the end of the tunnel. The governor has given the go-ahead to enter into phase 2 today, Friday 06/12/2020. We are planning to reopen on a limited scale starting next week. Due to the restriction on capacity, we will initially be accomodating annual members only. Annual members will be sent a separate email with instructions for booking courts, max of 4 per court. The idea is to have the members come in with people they know, play among themselves and then leave. Congregation off the courts should be avoided. We are not out of the woods. So, continue to practice DISTANCING, MASKS and SANITIZING.

Follow the Governor's Guidelines:https://www.governor.virginia.gov/media/governorvirginiagov/governor-of-virginia/pdf/Virginia-Forward-Phase-Two-Guidelines.pdf

Again, everyone should practice DISTANCING, MASKS and SANITIZING for the protection of your fellow shuttlers.

Regards,
Kendrick-
