It’s Big Chop Summer and I am here for it, y’all.

Took her from grown out golden blonde to a neutralized ashy blonde. This type of ash blonde is MUCH more low maintenance than the super ashy blondes of the past couple years.

It’s AMAZING what a little hair gloss can do. This new client arrived not loving how light her hair had become after her last blonding session. She wanted the color to be closer to her natural while remaining low maintenance. With correct formulation it was an easy to achieve result. Glossing is great for everyone!!! This cutie came back to see me for the “big chop”. Y’all know I’m a fan of the “safe cut”, which we did first, but after living with it for a while she decided to go all in. We were both in love 🤍.

Growing up I never dreamed I’d be known as a Chemist. Oh, the places you’ll go. 💕

We took this sweet, spunky lady from high maintenance blonde to low maintenance lived in color. The key to increasing time between appointments is building a natural root into the highlight. This technique makes the darker root look purposeful, not just grown out.

Post wedding chop. We discussed going even shorter next time. I’m a BIG fan of doing a “safe cut” first if you’re unsure about losing a ton of length. Once she’s comfortable with this haircut we can maintain or chop even more.

Major refresh alert!!! I hadn’t seen this beautiful head of hair in almost a year, and you know what, that’s ok. Life gets in the way. I’m always here when y’all, and your hair 😉,needs me.

Believe it or not this color was achieved with just a toner/gloss. With correct formulation we were even able to blend away a few pesky grays.

A little bit of lightner can go a LONG way! If you swipe to see her before you will notice that I simply added bright pieces to the right areas making her hair seem more lived in, beachy blonde. Placement is key with lived-in color.

Ladies, when you’re a brunette and you start to REALLY see some gray hairs….it’s time to go lighter. Adding dimension will help blend those pesky whites. Making more of a shimmer instead of an eyesore.

Lived in S**g. This was one of my favorite cuts learned with at the class last week. It’s not for everyone but, if you’re looking to remove bulk while adding a ton of movement and texture this cut is for you.
