Juneteenth also known as Emancipation Day, is a special day that marks the freedom of enslaved African Americans.

Join us at our “Express Yourself” event, we will be commemorating the holiday with food, crafts, and music!

This celebration will also mark our store’s closing & we will be celebrating the journey that we have been grateful to have.

As our store is closed, we will be debuting an online photo gallery this Thursday! Titled ‘Black Hairstory’ this gallery celebrates Black hair styles and hair history.

Last week, we suffered an unimaginable loss. Biko was our spokesmodel, our sunshine, and our biggest fan. The store will be closed while we focus on supporting his parents and sister through these first weeks of shock. In the mean time, Sipho is nourished by your messages of love and support.
