Whether you are planning a wedding, or any special celebration, Verbena Specialty Cakes & Pastries will work closely with all clients to help create custom designed cakes and pastries. Our desserts and cakes range from simple and elegant to detailed and elaborate. All of our cakes are made from scratch using the best local ingredients and delivered and set up on site. We also have a number of flavors offered as gluten free and vegan if desired.

Today is my daughter’s 19th birthday and this is her cake for her sunset party tonight.
Meyer lemon cake with vanilla whipped cream, Meyer lemon curd and fresh berries, all the good stuff!

It was such a beautiful day today!!
For today’s wedding we had classic white tiers, fresh flowers and a little bit of gold leaf.
The top two tiers were tiramisu (coffee soaked layers, mascarpone filling and cocoa powder).
The third tier was strawberry cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream and the bottom tier was chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and fresh raspberries. A little something for everyone:)

An evening of love, lore and lots of sweet treats!
It was fun making these fairy tale mushrooms for the banana, chocolate and caramel cake.
There are also chocolate caramel cupcakes, lemon curd filled lemon cupcakes, raspberry brownies and coconut shortbread.

The sun came out just as I was delivering this cake out in Bayside.
These slab cakes are fun!
Side note: I delivered this cake to a house that I used to take swimming lessons about 45 years ago!! I haven’t been there since then but I have fond memories of that house up on the hill.

Happy 17th birthday, Iris! 🎉
She requested a rich chocolate cake filled with caramel whipped cream and topped with vanilla buttercream. The cute pink flowers are so sweet, but the pink sparkly meringue mushrooms might be my favorite detail on this one! 🍄💕
