Saturday was a DREAM! Grace & Michael's wedding was perfection and I wish I could document it over and over again ❣️

Romantasy inspired engagement sessions are my favorites ♥️

Mandi & Will's wedding was simply gorgeous 🥂

There were countless details I loved and will always remember, but a few moments really stood out:

1. Will absolutely losing it when Mandi walked down the aisle :')
2. The pink, vintage plates Mandi thrifted individually over months of planning 🎀
3. The vintage inspired heart cake 🎂
4. M & W's amazing friends and family that were smiling all day long
5. Their first dance to 'Lover' by Taylor Swift (which also happens to be the song Murphy and I danced to at our wedding)

It really was a perfect day and I felt so lucky to be there to capture it.

I had the best time with Amy & Evan on Saturday night exploring Lion's Den Gorge and roleplaying vampires. This was one of those sessions I could stay in forever & never tire of it.

A few prompts we used:

🌲 write your initials in the sand
🌲hold hands and run like crazy
🌲pretend to be Edward sucking the venom from Bella's veins
🌲embrace like you haven't seen each other in months and one of you just tried to sacrifice themselves to the volturi

One of the first things Amy said to me on Saturday was that she loves Twilight, so naturally we took inspiration from the best romance in modern day cinema to set the scene. Move over Forks, WA - Lake Michigan is the new PNW!

I had the most fun a girl can have with Kayla & Marc at their engagement session a week back. They came to me asking for vintage, soft & romantic images and I am happy to say we nailed that 💗

When I shoot at the Villa Terrace it feels like a chance to run around with my clients and play princesses - which is exactly what we did! Rapunzel was definitely used as a prompt in slide 9 and it's giving everything I hoped for ✨️

I am having the time of my life editing these and I cannot wait to share more!

I've been digging into the archives a bit, and I'm just as in love with this session now as I was when I shot it three years ago ♥️

I rarely do senior sessions, but when Lily came to me asking for a super creative shoot involving drama and spotlights and all the funky light, I couldn't resist!

Lily is going to school for theater & music, so getting her on stage for her photos was an absolute must! I am genuinely obsessed with these photos even nearly a year later and they have me open to taking on a few seniors this year as well!!
