What an amazing end to our semester at our Antioch free tutoring site!
We are beyond grateful for every student, tutor, intern, and supporter who made this season so special. A huge thank you to Antioch Youth Services for believing in our mission and helping us continue investing in young lives.
To our tutors and interns : thank you for your patience, encouragement, and heart. To our students : never forget that each one of you carries something special inside of you. You matter, you are valued, and your future is bright. @

Proud moment at our Antioch Tutoring Site City of Antioch, CA Government !
Bernardo, a 5th grader from Antioch Charter Academy, has been excelling in math and is now mastering pre-algebra and basic algebra problems through hard work and support from our tutors.
Special thank you to our amazing site coordinator, Paulette Perez , for helping create an environment where our students can grow and believe in themselves. 📚💪
When I see my students succeed, I feel like I just won an Oscar! Today, we recognized five students at one of our sites, and it reminds me exactly why we do this. Watching them trust us, putting in the work, and seeing the impact, those are the moments that are priceless. And yes, we have the best team of tutors ever! Proud and grateful, let’s keep making these dreams a reality!

We are looking to open tutoring positions and would love to connect with people who truly enjoy teaching or are pursuing a teaching career.
🗓 Schedule: 2 days a week ( Tuesdays and Thursday )
⏰ Time: 2:30–4:00 PM
📍 Location: City of Pittsburg, CA
This is a gig-style opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys working with students and wants hands-on experience in education. A college degree is not required, what matters most to me is a genuine love for teaching and learning.
📘 Requirement: You must be comfortable with calculus and higher-level math in order to support advanced classes.

Registration is now OPEN for our Pittsburg Tutoring Program 📚✨
I’m excited to share that we’re officially accepting registrations! Spots are limited, so I encourage families to register as soon as possible to secure a place for their student.
This program is for students from 5th grade through 12th grade and meets every Tuesday from 4:00–6:00 PM.
Education matters. Access to the right support and resources can change a student’s confidence, direction, and future.

I’m excited to share our November newsletter for our two tutoring sites in Antioch!
📘 1st–5th Grade Program
Our little learners are growing in confidence every week. Reading, math, vocabulary building, and so many breakthroughs , we’re proud of every step they take.
📗 6th–12th Grade Program
Our teens are building strong study habits, preparing for success, and discovering their strengths in academics and beyond.
This newsletter highlights our November progress, upcoming events, parent info, and the amazing work our tutors and students are doing. Thank you to every family, volunteer, and partner who makes this possible. Together we’re creating a place where our kids feel supported, encouraged, and capable of greatness.

Yesterday we were working on common denominators and multiplication skills, and these students showed up ready to learn.
I’m proud of how focused and determined they were , their confidence is growing every single session.
🔢 Fun Facts:
• Fractions show up everywhere in real life , cooking, building, music, even shopping.
• When two fractions share the same denominator, it becomes way easier to compare and combine them.
• Multiplication is just repeated addition — once students see that, everything starts connecting.
• Research shows mastering fractions early boosts success in higher-level math later on. 💡
Keep going, champions. You’re doing awesome!
Yesterday we celebrated our Thanksgiving at RRTH Tutoring, and I just want to say how grateful I am for all of you , my amazing kids. You each inspire me in your own way. You remind me not to give up, to keep pushing, and to keep believing in the purpose God has placed in this program.
I promise we will continue working even harder for you, supporting you, and cheering you on. You are the reason we do what we do. 💛
