As a group, they have provided direct support national Christian acts such as Stars Go Dim, Ben Fuller, Remedy Drive, I Am They, Disciple, Cory Asbury and “The Voice” Winner Jordan Smith.
Daren Streblow’s unique style of observational stand-up comedy has been entertaining hundreds-of-thousands of people throughout the United States and around the world since he first stepped on the stage in 1995. Food in the 'Hood Program | Good in the 'Hood
Here is another one of our sponsor's Good in the 'Hood amazing programs! Nearly 1 in 6 Minnesotans experience some measure of food insecurity in Minnesota. Each year in March, we participate in the MN FoodShare Campaign.
They currently operate 30 Pop-up host sites in the Twin Cities serving over 100,000 people each year with more than 2,000,000 pounds of groceries. Since the pandemic began, they've nearly doubled the number of people served from 4,500 to approximately 11,500 each month. In 2022, they distributed more than 3 million pounds of food over multiple sites to 133,175 hungry, hurting people. Nearly 100% of those they serve are low-income households. This includes children, seniors, families, students, immigrants/refugees, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those with disabilities.
Every dollar and every pound of groceries donated during the month of March is extra partial matching funds through their March Food Share program sponsor!

On March 24th at 7pm, Presence Music will be opening the show with an acoustic set. They are a faith-filled pop-worship group from the Duluth, MN Area. They are co-lead by industry veteran Jesse Paul Smith, who has worked with Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, and Channing Tatum. Presence Music was formed when co-lead vocalists Brandon and Leah Monson joined with to help believers find more hope and joy in God’s presence. As a group, they have provided direct support national Christian acts such as Stars Go Dim, Ben Fuller, Remedy Drive, I Am They, Disciple, Cory Asbury and “The Voice” Winner Jordan Smith.

Mick Sterling Presents HEART & SOUL - The Songs of Huey Lewis and the News is a celebration of this hit machine of a band touching on the huge singles such as I WANT A NEW DRUG, HEART OF ROCK AND ROLL, STUCK ON YOU and HIP TO BE SQUARE, but also visits songs such as BAD IS BAD, OH DARLIN, SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL and many more. The band is fueled by a three piece horn section and incredible background vocals and led by Mick Sterling, HEART & SOUL is a joyous night of R&B, Blues and Doo W*p in the unmistakable way Huey Lewis and the News delivered their brand of American R&B.
Tickets are $25.00 in advance and $30.00 at the door. Seating is general admission and doors open at 6:30 PM. Concessions will be available for sale during the concert.
The Music Factory is located on the 2nd floor of the WWI era Old Milk Factory on the Rum River in Anoka. It is not a wheelchair accessible building and there are some stairs to climb.

The Heart of the City Music Factory is a beautiful Victorian-style, 5-star rated rentable concert and event venue for weddings, receptions, anniversaries, luncheons, birthdays, etc., and is located on the second floor of the Old Milk Factory on the Rum River in historic Anoka, MN. Being in the Music Factory is like gathering in a large Victorian home with vintage wallpaper, a fireplace on stage, balcony with a great view, gorgeous décor and an intimate seating capacity of 137.
Since 1996, Heart of the City has been focused on racial reconciliation through the concerts and recordings of the multi-ethnic Heart of the City Band. Heart of the City has traveled and performed for thousands of people in various settings up to 30 times a year since 1996, but we’ve never had a home base. As of the summer of 2018, the Heart of the City Music Factory became the home base, recording studio and sound stage for the Heart of the City Band, as well as, a music venue that features a regular concert series of multi-ethnic, diverse artists – both local and national – going from Classical to Jazz to Reggae, Gospel, Rock, Singer/Songwriter and many others, with the continued mission of bringing people together in a positive, faith-based setting to build bridges and enjoy great music and entertainment together. The high quality sound, light and video system makes for a great listening experience no matter where you are seated, and the caliber of the artists in concert is always top notch!
Our concerts are ticketed and open to the general public. For any type of rental, food and drink must be catered in by licensed caterers. Additionally, the Music Factory is not handicapped accessible.
