There's a rhyme to reason in Ninpo utilizing methods in dealing with multiple attackers.
The 6 Rules of Surviving Multiple Attackers Fighting two or more attackers, even if they are unarmed, is a "worst case scenario." However, as with any conflict, there are rules that can help you survive it. Here are six of them that you must commit to memory.

Message.....
Many people fear they are incapable of learning martial arts effectively. The problem is most people only believe in big steps. There is nothing you are incapable of. Set your end goal. It could be anything. Tell yourself you truly want it, that you deserve it, and that you will work toward it. Day by day, make progress 1% a day, 1 small step at a time, regardless of if you are naturally gifted or not. In a few months you will feel the same. In a year, two years, and a few more years. Eventually when you look back, you will realize how far you have traveled without realizing because your eyes have always remained ahead of you.
Martial arts are the greatest way to teach yourself how to attain goals you never thought possible, that there are no limitations to what we are each capable of.
The only question you should ask is, "How badly do I want it?"
Most people focus on competing against other people. Martial arts force you to focus on yourself.
Martial arts are one of the few activities that teach people how to overcome themselves.
No one controls your reality, only you have that power.
Today the 4th annual Ninpo US Black Belt Seminar concluded after 3 days of intense training in Abingdon, MD. Omar Sensei successfully passed and earned his Menkyo Shoden license in Daiwado Jujutsu (Sato-den).
.
Congratulations to all others who performed incredibly in their tests as well.

It has been several months since classes were held in person at our dojo due to health and safety concerns throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. While we are itching to be training regularly in person again, we want to keep all of our students and teachers safe and will continue to provide virtual classes for the time being.
A couple weeks ago, we opened enrollment back up to the public. Please keep in mind that while virtual classes are occurring, our regular 7-8:30 PM class times have temporarily shifted to 7-8 PM. Occasionally, we will be meeting up at various parks to train safely and socially distanced for some morning fresh air and exercise.
If you know a friend or a family member interested in classes, shoot us a message and we can schedule you for a free private introductory lesson.
Please join me in congratulating my teacher Mark Bramble, now officially Shihan, in successfully earning Menkyo Kaiden in the Daiwado and Yagyu Shingan Ryu systems. This is an incredibly rare achievement in the Japanese martial arts world. Omedetou gozaimasu!
Recently our dojo decided to open enrollment back up to the public. Currently our classes are virtual for everyone's safety. If you live in the NOVA/Washington D.C. area, shoot us a message with your e-mail address and let us know you are interested in our group orientation on Saturday, 8/29/20 from 11:15-12:00 PM, and we will extend an invitation to you via e-mail. All participants must participate in the class and have a working web camera and microphone.
We just hit 400 likes. Thank you for your support!
Our dojo has always remained relatively neutral in public matters. The idea has been to leave each of our personal opinions at the door so we can train in a safe, fun, and friendly sanctuary so that all have an equal opportunity to learn our art of self-defense, martial strategy, and martial philosophy.
However, silence can inadvertently also be a form of oppression; and a voice shared, even if online, can make a powerful and positive impact where needed.
We are deeply saddened by the losses of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and countless others, as well as the discriminatory acts of inequality targeting the Black community in the U.S. We believe in equal rights and equal justice for all, regardless of the color of our skin.
We do not condone police brutality, nor do we condone violent acts harming our own communities and small businesses either. We value life and the ability to protect it.
The Yamajiro Ninja Academy stands with our Black brothers and sisters, and we support the Black Lives Matter movement. We hope and pray for a positive outcome through the combined efforts of our young and our elderly fighting for meaningful change.
Sincerely,
Sensei Omar Gilani
Are you training in martial arts at home? If you are, we'd love to hear your thoughts, no matter what school or art. Has it been helping you? If so, how?
Stop making excuses and train at home if that's your only option. No matter what school or system you belong to, just train in something.
