Unfortunately our season ends against the Pittsberg Outlawz, playing an arena football game in an open field with no dasher boards/walls or field goal posts against any league rules, at a ridiculous time when the field was available earlier in the day is the story of our season.

It was still a historic season for the Raptors and that cannot go over looked. We do still have the most disciplined players that have so much talent and would do great at the next level so if any teams are looking for good quality players feel free to reach out to us.

We have to remember that this is a professional/developmental league and the league is not at any professional level. When the league commissioner is only in it for his bottom line then the league becomes a joke. If any news outlets/media personnel are looking for a full list of grievances/illegal league rule violations from this season in the AAL2, please feel free to DM us and we will be happy to provide those to you. Thank you!

Huge Thank you to all the supporters, interns, volunteers, sponsors, media team, coaches and all the Raptor Nation family for all you did to make this inaugural season as successful as it was.

We start off our players of the game from our win against the Legendz this past weekend with our Defensive Player of the Game, Dj Hobbs-Harper. DJ had some great plays, along with the entire defense, causing havoc in the backfield. It was a day for the defense, but it was his unselfish play that granted him the recognition for defensive player of the game when he sacrificed recovering a fumble to block their player leading to another defender scooping and scoring.

Next is our Special Teams Player of the Game, Josiah Murphy. Murph played every snap on special teams to the best of his ability with hustle and teamwork. His hard work and dedication to the team is unmatched.

Up next is our Offensive Player of the Game, John Allen. John ran with force and finesse. Turning short gains into big ones and running all over the Legendz defense.

Lastly is the Apex Predator of the Game. This is the player that exhibits all the qualities of a true apex predator; hustle, determination, teamwork, tenacity and leadership. The player that earned this recognition is Dayshawn Jones. Dayshawn gave 110% on offense, defense and special teams without hesitation. Shredding defenses, locking down offenses and making big plays on kick return.

Congratulations to all these players, we continue to grow and take it one game at a time! Raptor Nation, Let’s Hunt! North Divisional Championship, here we come!
