Ted Budd that's running for North Carolina Senate will be at the Burger Basket between 4:30 and 5 tomorrow if you all want to come by and meet him.

We buy our chicken strips by the lb. The strips are twice as big as they normally are. So at this time we won't be offering the family dinners. Also the special will be 4 strips, the dinner will be 6 strips until the chicken strips return to normal. Sorry, we don't like doing this. But it is what it is. I've complained to the company but didn't do any good.

Burger Basket won't be able to open tomorrow. Our food truck couldn't make it today because of the snow out toward Asheville. We just got notified they aren't able to run tomorrow either. So we won't have a truck until Wednesday. We are open today. Sorry for the inconvenience. We have enough supplies to get us through today. Thank you and stay safe. We would like to Thank everyone that came out to support Burger Basket today. In 20 years this was by far the busiest day we've ever had in December. Not sure if if was from all the negative false posts put on our page from people who have never stepped foot in our restaurant or what. No matter what the reason was, Della, Teresa and all of the employees at the restaurant appreciate each one of you. We are exhausted but your all showed your love and support today.

If you are on here reading all the bad reviews about our restaurant they are from people all over the country who have never stepped foot in our restaurant. They don't like our political stand nor do they like veterans. One lady said she didnt support restaurants who cater to killers, meaning veterans. I was deleting them but decided to let them show how ignorant they are. People that live here and eat with us know the kind of people we are and the service we give. To all that have supported us thank you. To the evil bunch spewing hatred on here have at it.

Please be patient and understanding. All restaurants and businesses at this time are short staffed. They are all working as hard as they possibly can. Burger Baskets has 80% of orders called in. So when you order there may be several ahead of yours. We don't cook anything ahead so everything is cooked fresh when you order. To all our customers. We recently hired a couple of employees, that we had to let go. We hired them without knowing things about them. We were unaware of their problems. As a business, we want our customers to trust the food and sevice, they receive. Are we perfect, no we aren't. We've been getting messages from people and also, seeing things that we don't allow at our business.Everyone deserves a second chance in life. Yet, when it's bought to your business, we can not and will not allow it. I hope this puts all our customers minds to ease. Why, would I post something like like this on Facebook? When people are blowing up your messanger, you have to nip it in the bud. We will work everyday, ourselves if we have to. Thank you all for letting us know.
