Big News! We have been working on implementing an app to promote agritourism in Cherokee, Clay, and Graham County. The Visit NC Farms app showcases farms and fisheries, pick your own produce/fruit, farmer's markets, local food and drink, shop local, farm stays and lodging, tours and trails, and special events. We are moving forward this week with this exciting project and we hope you will follow along with our progress. This app was developed by the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Visitncfarms and is doing great things for agritourism in other parts of the state.

Thanks so much Dana at Horseshoe Creek Riding Stables for the tour today. We were able to keep an appropriate social distance and still spend time with your horses. Dana also does equine rescue and has about 22 horses to care for. With the current situation with COVID-19 her business is shut down to the public. Right now just feeding them is around $1000 a month. If anyone is interested in helping support these horses please contact the chamber or Dana. Horseshoe Creek Riding Stables - a beautiful stable located at the base of the Smoky Mountains!

They have great horses for us amateurs. They also look to take really good care of their horses. Oh, and the dogs. We’re dog lovers.

We are a small riding stable that make our home in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Come ride with us to see the beauty of the mountains.

We ride by reservation only and ride a maximum of six (6) on horseback and (8) in the wagon to ensure safty and that you and your family and friends have the best possible time with us. Trails: Bluegrass:1-2 hours, horses only, experienced riders. Tatham Gap 1-2 hours, horses and/or wagons, Spread Eagle: 3-3.5 hour ride, horses only, experienced riders. All trail rides are one hour ride is $30 per

Horseshoe Creek Riding Stables has one stall opened now for boarding! Another stall will be open September 1st! Price is $350 a month per stall.
Included: stalls cleaned daily with shavings included, fed once daily, access to the washroom with hot and cold water, and access and a place in the tack room.
Owner lives on property and there are several trails that can be ridden from the farm.
