Anyone looking to go to the track tonight Kristy is there now with the doors open, feel free to heard on out.

Someone mentioned this the other day and I thought it was a great thing to share.

What do the words Box Stock really mean?

Does it mean you take it from the box to the track and tough nothing?

The answer is NO

What it really means is, you race the parts that came in the box, but you’re free to “work” on the car. Disassemble, polish, refit, rebuild, change shock and diff oils, clean grease from bearings. All that said box stock does mean that all parts must be replaced in the stock locations in an unaltered state. Meaning you can’t use a left rear a arm on the right rear or you can’t heat up your upper a arm and make it longer to change the camber. Stock location and unaltered are important here.

Anyway food for thought when discussing what box stock really means.

I’m trying to do things in the best interest of the track and racers. First let me say I DO NOT believe anyone is cheating, I’m not out to get anyone, I’m trying kill the perception of cheating and create a better environment. I would prefer to have everyone on board and create a friendly competition environment rather than the direction we are heading.

Only major changes are losi nascar box stock and traxxas outlaw

Losi nascar protest rules take effect immediately, handout and Monday night rules take effect next week

Traxxas rules take effect July 1 (as stated previously) to give people time to make any needed changes

I’ll post the rules here
I’ll have a binder at the track at tech and another in the hobby shop

If you sign up for the class you accept the rules as written regardless if you have read them or not
