School’s back in session, everyone’s back in town… now what? 🙃

I don’t do everything right (or most things), but I am forever grateful I was exactly right about you, Jeff. Chicken forever.

On our recent trip back to Iowa to drop Eliza off to school, I had some extra space in her empty returning suitcases (I’m fine, it’s fine 😭) and was able to bring back this broken wine bottle and flowers that Jeff had with him when he proposed.

He remembered his proposal lines, but forgot the bottle opener, so we smashed it on a rock and never looked back. Fun to get it up in Alaska after all these years.

Summer finally showed up, and what a weekend it was. Feeling fortunate to have such a wonderful group of friends and family to adventure with.

The mountains are in, the sky is getting there, and now it’s time to build the rest of the painting. This is usually the point where everything starts to come together or fall apart.
