Breaking News: The tropical storm that terrorized Southern California with severe dampening has partially flooded my parents’ birdbath in the suburbs outside Los Angeles. As of this report, no drowning birds have been reported.

Spent the weekend in Chicago with the fam. Mostly hung out in the Museum of Science and Innovation, where I found the statue that was photographed for Nirvana’s “In Utero” album cover. Also tried a needlessly long Chicago hot dog. Good times!
