Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make our emergency response training a success!

We had a fantastic CERT training on Saturday! Some of the disaster response skills covered included medical operations like basic first aid and triage, light search and rescue, lifts/drags/carries, emergency communications and more! Special thanks to our friends Peabody Mill Environmental Center - PMEC for letting us use their facility and to the incredible volunteer "victims" who helped put our new trainees to the test in a simulated emergency.

Exciting volunteer opportunity! We need volunteer "victims" for an emergency response training coming up on Saturday, June 13 from 2-5pm at Peabody Mill Environmental Center - PMEC in Town of Amherst NH.

Please be advised of a traffic advisory for Friday, May 22, in the Amherst Village and Boston Post Road area beginning at 6:30 a.m., as Souhegan CERT volunteers set up for the annual Bike Bus. Drivers may experience brief delays beginning at 7:20 a.m. as we help guide students safely from the Congregational Church along Foundry Street and down Boston Post Road to Clark-Wilkins School.

Souhegan CERT is proud to support the Bike Bus and looks forward to a fun, safe, and successful event for our students and community!

Proud to support the first responders of the Souhegan Valley including Amherst Fire and EMS, Lyndeborough NH Fire Department, Milford Fire Department, Mont Vernon, NH Fire Department. Help us spread the word about upcoming CERT training - open to folks from all communities!
