After the cold winter of 2025/26 and after we lost the spring/summer of 2026, we finally started rehearsals again about a month ago. We lost 3 Guitar players and a Bass player in that time and now we have an excellent new lead guitarist, reunited with our original bass player and added a Blues harmonica player/rhythm guitarist. Nobody said it would be easy keeping a band together, and it sure hasn't been.
But now things are looking up for Texas Rust. We are now rehearsing for our first gig since December 2025. We will be playing the Childress High School Class of 1981's Reunion in Childress Texas, October 17 and a week later on October 24th we'll be playing at the Famous Shark Beach in Amarillo at 7:00pm. Special thanks to all of our families, fans and followers for your patience and understanding. Here's to live music in Amarillo!
