The Texas Democratic Party is preparing a memorial tribute for the upcoming Texas Democratic Convention to honor Democrats who have passed away between June 2024 and June 1, 2026.
We know that many dedicated Democrats have spent years serving their communities, volunteering for campaigns, organizing events, supporting local parties, and helping move our state forward. We want to make sure their contributions are remembered.
If you know of a Democrat from the Texas Panhandle who passed away during this time period and should be recognized, please let us know. We are especially interested in individuals who made an impact through public service, party leadership, activism, community organizing, or other contributions to the Democratic Party and our communities.
Please share:
• Name
• Year of birth (if known)
• Date of death
• Home county
• A brief description of their contributions or involvement
• A photo, if available
Information must be submitted by June 5.
Help us ensure that those who dedicated their time, energy, and passion to building a better Texas are honored and remembered at this year's Texas Democratic Convention.
