Making It Count

I got So much out of this book, Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy. I watched an interview with him and one of my favorite motivational speakers, Terri Savelle Foy. He started out as a failure trying to be a salesman but then he started looking around and discovered ways to be successful
I don't think of my self as a procrastinator but this book has given me ways to improve my successes in getting things done. I am always looking for ways to improve my life, Making It Count.
My biggest take-away was not to get on social media or leave the house until "the frog of the day" (biggest task for the day) was done. It has made a huge difference!

Do you ever think about your home security? I am so glad we have home security We were in Colorado on vacation a while back and in the middle of the night my husband woke me up, hey, the alarms are going off! Well I sat up and I didn't hear anything. I said, "What?" then he said, "At the house, our alarm company just called" I was awake and a little concerned. Well because we didn't answer the sheriff had been dispatched. They didn't see any forced entry or anything so they said they could run back by in the morning and have a look .
My husband called the neighbor in the morning and gave him the code to get into the house and see what was going on. The coast was clear, nothing wrong or out of place.
When we got home a few days later we were taking our suitcases into the house and I looked over and saw the problem. We had not turned off our roving vacuum! It had gotten stuck under the coffee table and was in direct line with the sensor on the ceiling. Gangster caught! My husband works many nights and I am alone with my dog, okay he's big and scary but he's really a baby. But I can feel safe while he is gone because I know my Security System works.
