Great of racing! Huge shoutout to Ricky Deaver, Jackie Deaver, and big uncle Trent Hawkins for all the support and help this weekend! 52 car count for Jeffs 5.80 memorial race! We struggled Friday night first night out in over a year. Looked over data and came back Saturday with a plan. 5.79 in q1. But had carb problems. Worked them out in between rounds. Hustled back up for 1st round! Peddled a 5.90 rd1. Bad light and dead on 5.803 tune got me through rd2 into this race with ol Paul Harris. Hell of a race, .004 win margin with Paul edging me out on the light and I made a tough call the the stripe. He went on to win it all!
She’s thawed out and ready for me. Ol shake and bake time!
Let’s see if we can hurt some feelings before Labor Day.

Messed around with ol funky monkey late last night. Let’s see if we got oil pressure and get some testing in!
