With over ten years behind the camera and a short hiatus to focus on schooling and my babies, I’m starting a new chapter behind the lens.

I woke up yesterday morning panicking about Christmas Minis, so I decided to get Fall Minis a little more organized.

In doing so, I realized I still wanted the corn field in the background, and to throw pumpkins in there, so the date has been changed to September 12th and September 19th, before harvesting.

Our friend Butters the highland cow will be available to come cuddle on September 19th, if you’d like to add his sweetness to your sessions 🧡

It's wild to say we officially have a teenager in the house, but the day is here. Happiest of birthdays to our Madeline.

We've been making memories for nine years and I can still remember the terror that ran through my body the first day I met her. Luckily, she couldn't sense it, as she was too busy singing and dancing to "Let It Go" before plopping down in my lap and bam, we became buds.
Together, we've been making fun of John Pluester ever since, and navigating our way through the sorority house we live in.

Love you so much, kid.

Also, a huge congratulations to Larissa for graduating with her master's degree. Being a working mom and obtaining a degree is a huge accomplishment!

I swear I just met my boyfriend's four year old yesterday but somehow we're now taking pictures of my thirteen year old step-daughter and I don't remember blinking.

When you're completely restarting as a photographer, it's really scary putting your work out for the world to see. I've stared at the screen thinking images have been too blue, or too yellow, or the sky is underexposed or overexposed.

So, it's important for me to take a moment and say thank you to the friends who have allotted me so much time to work on my style.

Megan said the word "picnic basket" and I went running with the idea of an older car. She totally went with it and I can't say how much I appreciate that. I've known these two for over ten years, now, and I can still see the spark and love in their eyes. Thank you SO much for letting my imagination run wild with this one. It was a blast. And it would not have been nearly as successful without Dustin Potter who immediately responded with a car, and took the time on a holiday weekend to drive it out simply because he's a friend and wanted to help! You’re the best!

Oh, and happy late birthday to this beautiful angel Megan Klunk. You’re such a beautiful human who deserves all the love.

When moms graduate with their master's degree, that deserves to be celebrated!
