A serious driver doesn't sign on a billboard number. He asks for six things:

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 — by truck and year. Get it in writing. Our units run from $900 to $1,100/week depending on year and model.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 — insurance, admin fee, trailer rent, fuel, tolls. Itemized on the settlement, not summarized in a pitch.

𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 — what's covered, what's not, and how "driver negligence" is defined. On our plans, maintenance is fully covered unless caused by negligence.

𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 — what happens when the truck's in the shop. On a covered major breakdown over 24 hours, our lease is prorated for that downtime.
