As a volunteer wrangler, she helps guide Veterans and First Responders in the program to let their walls down while working with their horse.
She’s seen them arrive to the ranch feeling defeated or depleted from everyday work stressors that most people don’t see or understand.
Seeing their transformation and healing is why she volunteers. She loves seeing them set the weight of their work and past trauma down in the arena.

Help us care for the horses that care for our heroes. Our horses are the heart of Saddles In Service. Their presence, patience, and trust help create life-changing moments of healing for our heroes, but they can't do it alone.
Our herd requires daily care, including hay and feed, farrier visits, veterinary care, supplements, and ongoing maintenance to keep them healthy and ready to serve those who have served us.
Our annual care need is here and you play a role in ensuring these horses can continue changing lives, one hero at a time.

Healing happens with connection.
A horse doesn’t care about your title, your rank, your past, or the battles you’ve faced. They meet you exactly where you are. In their presence, walls come down, trust is rebuilt, and purpose begins to return.
At Saddles In Service, our heroes find more than horsemanship. They find connection, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. Through every lesson, every challenge, and every quiet moment with a horse in the arena, the horses have a way of teaching what words often cannot.
The horses are the healers. Our Wranglers guide the journey. Our supporters make it possible.
