Caring for Children Who have Experienced Trauma is a 6-session course for parents, foster parents, adoptive parents, guardians, caregivers, grandparents, childcare providers, and those who work with children and families.

Explore the behavioral and biological impact of trauma on children and how to use a trauma-informed perspective to care for children.

6 contact hours will be accredited for sessions 1-3 (Trauma Basics) and another 6 contact hours for sessions 4-6 (Putting Trauma Knowledge Into Action).

Sessions are in-person weekly on Tuesdays, June 23rd through July 28t. It is from 6pm - 8pm.

No Cost to residents of Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, & Presque Isle Counties.
