We have room is our kids welding class tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. It's a 3 hour class where kids ages 10-18 learn about and see welding and oxyacteylene cutting, and have opportunities to throw some sparks and make a few projects! Cost is $100 for a 3 hour session, and you can register at www.weldtight.com!

There is something fun about hosting families in the WeldTight shop! The last few Monday nights, we have had 2 fathers with their 2 sons in the shop learning about Gas Metal Arc Welding and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding!

WeldTight is offering mini welding camps and classes for ages 10-18 and families! We offer hands on opportunities to learn about oxyacetylene cutting and gas metal arc welding!

Dates for the camps are April 30, May 14, and June 4. Family classes and private classes can be scheduled whenever is convenient.

We hosted 6 campers this morning in our shop, and had a little fun playing with sparks! Welding Camps are for ages 10-18, and include a safety talk, a little blueprint drawing, and hands on opportunities to do Gas Metal Arc Welding, Oxyacetylene Cuttings, and to use various equipment in the shop, including the bandsaw, drill press, and angle grinders!

Our next camp dates are April 30th and May 14th.

We have 2 more spots in our Wednesday metal shop class starting April 6th, so if you know a middle or high schooler who might be interested, reach out!

WeldTight has added several more mini welding camps for ages 10-18 in April, May, and June! Cost is $100.00/student for a 3 hour camp to introduce kids to welding and metalworking! Dates in April are 4/2, 4/16 and 4/30!

Metal shop for ages 13-18 starts April 7th for 10 weeks, on Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. We have 1 spot left! Cost is $750.00/student. We could open a second section of this if there is enough interest, so reach out!

We are offering mini welding classes for adults the first Sunday of the month from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Next classes are April 3rd and May 1st! Cost is $120.00/person.
