“Choir of Silence” is a song about what happens when faith becomes performance, when people are hurting quietly behind smiles, and when something sacred starts feeling emotionally hollow.
This isn’t a song about hating God.
It’s about wrestling with confusion, loneliness, manipulation, emotional disconnect, and the grief of loving a place that no longer feels alive to you.
Some people lose faith.
Some people lose themselves.
Some people sit silently in rooms full of worship while internally falling apart.
If you’ve ever felt unseen…
If you’ve ever questioned everything…
If you’ve ever stayed somewhere because you still loved pieces of it…
This song is for you.

I’m working on something new, but not quite so new…
I’ve had so much love and support for my album, “No Altar Left in Me” and I thank you all so much for that. But I’ve had some tell me they want to hear my story but they aren’t really into metal music or a lot of profanity(🙃🙃😜) so I am working on composing all of my songs from that album into softer more contemporary version you may hear in a church service. So, I’d love to announce “No Altar Left in Me: Church Service” coming out soon!
No profanity
No screaming
No harsh vocals
Just clean, pure music with a message of plainly this:
“If God is love
Then live love
And let the rest
Fade away…
Be the Good”
I’m excited to bring this to you.
Release date coming soon!

JaC isn’t just a band. It’s a story.
Every sound, every lyric, every visual you’ve seen… comes from one place, but it shows up in different forms.
This is JaC:
🧠 Joseph Cain: the architect behind it all
The writer. The creator. The one who lived it.
Every lyric is mine. Every story is mine. Jules is the voice I gave it.
🎤 Julian “Jules” Cade: the voice you hear
The emotion. The pain. The fire.
Everything screamed into the mic is real… even if the face isn’t.
🎸 Marcus “Mace” Holloway: lead guitar
Precision meets chaos. Every riff cuts exactly where it needs to.
🎸 Ryan “Rook” Calder: bass
The weight behind the sound. The calm in the middle of the storm.
🥁 Tyler “Halo” Boone: drums
Relentless. Unfiltered. The heartbeat that drives everything forward.
JaC was never about pretending.
It’s about taking what’s real…
and making sure it’s heard.

I made a lyric video today for one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written, “What I Lost.”
This song tells the truth about what my life looked like in the months and years after I left the church.
The dark path that started forming…
The things I lost…
The damage it caused in my life and my family.
None of that is exaggerated. It’s real.
But I want to be clear about something.
That’s not where I am anymore.
I’m happy now.
I’m at peace now.
This song isn’t just about what I went through…
it’s about how far I’ve come from it.
If you listen to the full album, you’ll hear the whole story.
Not just the loss, but the healing, the rebuilding, and the comeback on the other side of it.
And yeah… I’m proud of that story.
To everyone who’s stuck with me, supported me, and still shows love, thank you!!
It means more than you know.
I put a lot into this video and this song.
I hope you feel it.
Here it is.

Day Two of “No Altar Left in Me” is upon us.
I’m really excited to keep sharing this music and this story with you all.
Today, I wanted to share a song I wrote a long time ago. Back when I was still deep in church life and living it fully. I originally called it “You Know Me,” but for this album, I’m calling it “Pure Worship.”
I want everyone to know that the heart of worship for God is still there. Man, do I miss leading a congregation in worship. But their altar isn’t for me anymore, so I’ll just worship God with this.
Give it a listen if you’ve got a minute today. This song is truly my heart for God.
Have a great Tuesday,
JaC

It’s release day.
No Altar Left in Me is officially out everywhere.
This album came from faith loss, church hurt, survival, grief, healing, and learning how to breathe again when everything familiar fell apart. I didn’t make this record to fake perfection. I didn’t make it to fake artistry. I won’t have the AI debate. This music came from my heart. All the words, melodies, and emotion are all Joseph. And if anyone of you actually knows me, knows that I am in fact a musician. Maybe one day, I’ll have the resources to rerelease this album with my voice. I’d love that. But for now, here is my heart about the church, religion, God, and where all this is in my life after over 20 years of ministry. I made it to tell the truth.
And I have to say this as a disclaimer: Although I do have some hate for some people in my past, and this album shows that, I’m not angry at the church and I’m not angry at God. I still have deep love for Him and still pray. I still know Jesus died for me, and I still know one day I’ll be with Him in glory. But I have to call out what I see. I have to call out what is true, I have to call out what happened. Here it is in this album.
****there will be no names said in this to protect me and my family***
If you’ve ever felt abandoned, broken, angry, numb, lost, or like you had to rebuild yourself from the ground up, this one is for you.
Thank you to every single person already listening today. Seriously. It means more than I can put into words.
Go run it up, share it with somebody who needs it, and let me know what song hits you the hardest.
