I’m late to the party, but I want to wish this fun, handsome, loving, smart amazing man a very Happy Father’s Day! He’s the best dad ever and we love him so much!

RiverRoad Coffeehouse of Granville Phase 2 officially done! It took a few extra weeks due to some construction hiccups and inspection delays, but the new experience is well worth the wait! Although the space is extremely different, we tried to keep some familiar elements for nostalgic reasons (like the barn siding wall, the stenciled wood peg board). The old exterior doors will be changing out but they are delayed. Now the newly renovated service area goes with our Customer service area that was renovated in January! All my local peeps please go and enjoy this beautiful treasure of our community and a delicious cup of coffee!! ☕️

So it has been a very busy 21 days- especially the last 3 days & nights! There are some missing items (like window valances & walk-off mats to protect the new floors) and some temporary items (like the table bases until the correct cast iron detailed ones arrive), but overall I could not be more pleased with how River Road Granville Coffeehouse turned out! It has been one of my most favorite projects ever because I have been a faithful customer since they opened. River Road Coffeehouse is near and dear to my heart and to this community! It has been such a fun, fast project!
I cannot thank my retired SWAT husband turned design assistant and handyman enough (although at one point he said “I’d rather be on a barricade). Plus, a special thank you to all my contractors (flooring, paint etc) that helped make the magic happen!

A “little” project that has been keeping me very busy for a couple of month! It’s been so fun and such a pleasure to be a part of the renovation since I have been a faithful customer since they opened many years ago!
