There are also plenty of things to avoid. ❌HATES ❌ 🔴St. Ives Apricot Scrub - Harsh physical exfoliation can lead to micro tears in the skin and an impaired barrier. Chemical exfoliation is superior. Look for items with salicylic, glycolic, and kojic acids instead. 🔴Rotating facial cleansing brushes - Rotating brushes can also cause micro tears in the skin as well as introduce bacteria that grows on the brush heads from repeated use. And really, how dirty is your face? Your hands are a sufficient tool to cleanse the delicate skin of the face and neck. 🔴Noxzema - If you’re an adult stop using skincare geared towards greasy teenage skin! As we get older our skin naturally becomes less hydrated and we produce a lower amount of healthy oils.
