"Hit and Run"
The Roadrunner chased the sparrow into our windows where the feeders were. Thus knocking the sparrow out number one. Then it picked up the sparrow, carried it over to the sidewalk and promptly beat it's little head 3 times.
Next came the dismemberment of the wings and plucking of feathers under the bird bath. Carry Out was in order for a private dining experience.

Lost Maples State Park is a small park with hiking trails, and camping sites, we hiked a few miles to discover the best show for fall leaves in Texas.

Our road trip to Lost Maples was a great ride through the beautiful Texas Hill Country southwest of Buchanan Dam. Here's a shot of a winding creek just outside of Comfort Texas.
