PAM Foundation addresses Perinatal Mental Health conditions.

4-10 May 2026 is Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week and PAM Foundation and , together with organisations worldwide, are providing resources, sharing stories, and changing the negative narrative of maternal mental health.
Maternal mental health is just as important as physical health — but it’s often overlooked. From pregnancy to postpartum, moms can face a range of mental health challenges, and many suffer in silence. This week (and always), let’s spread awareness, break the stigma, and remind every mama: you are not alone.
1 in 5 mothers will experience a PMAD, just imagine all the mothers who go undiagnosed. Let’s change that! Let’s support mothers, check in on mothers, love on mothers, listen to mothers, and show up in whatever space mothers need.

Together, we raised £11,360.
We’re deeply grateful to our runners and everyone who contributed—your support made this possible. Every step taken and every donation given helps us continue our work in perinatal mental health: raising awareness, improving care, and advancing research.
This impact reaches beyond the race, supporting mothers, babies, and families when it matters most.

When Dr. Maddalena Miele-Norton, a Perinatal Psychiatrist from the UK, was in Bangkok in November, we organised a casual coffee meet to take the opportunity to connect with her in person. Those who attended were psychiatrists who had taken the online pilot course in Perinatal Mental Health with her in 2023, as well as others who are keen to be involved in addressing PMH issues.
