June is going to be a great month! We will welcome new alumni graduating on June 2nd, Founder’s day is happening, we’re going to the Rubberducks game and we are doing an event with current Summit County Turning Point Program participants!

Yesterday we got to walk in the Green Memorial Day parade representing Judge Joy Malek Oldfield - what a great experience being out in the community as living examples of the amazing work Judge Oldfield does 🇺🇸

What a great day - the rain couldn’t stop us! It was beautiful to see the community come together and enjoy the day. We celebrated Kenny Lambert 8 year sobriety anniversary, tie-dyed some shirts, ate some food and laughed a lot!

Thank you to The JADFA House for hosting an amazing event in their space and allowing us to be apart of it 💛

Thank you Just A Dad From Akron for donating the shirts so we could host the tie-dye station - it was INSANE in the best way 💚

Thank you Compass North Church for the inflatables, food and the army of people to cook and volunteer 💛

Thank you Blake the Stigma for providing your resources for su***de survivors 💚

Last night was a beautiful night for the recovery community at the ARC Recovery Services arise and shine benefit dinner - the amazing Judge Joy Malek Oldfield delivered a powerful message and we got to witness true perseverance that happens everyday in our community 💛

TOMORROW!! This is a FREE community event at The JADFA House - there will be food, inflatables and FREE Just A Dad From Akron shirts! We will also be celebrating the 8 year sobriety anniversary of one of our alumni Kenny Lambert - Hope to see you all there!

This weekend we will be busy in the community! Friday night we will be at the ARC Recovery Services benefit dinner - Saturday we will be helping with a FREE event with The JADFA House and Just A Dad From Akron - there will be bounce houses, food and we will be sponsoring a tie dye station! Come out and have a good time with amazing people 💛
