Firestone High School Band

Sending positive vibes to the Firestone Winter Guard as they head to Wapakoneta HS for The Ohio Indoor Performance Association Guard Championships today. They perform at 2:19. Have a great show!

Support Firestone Band and brighten your spring with flowers. Flowers will arrive on April 30th and can be picked up at the school. Proceeds support the band in purchasing music for concert and marching band.

We’re excited to have The University of Akron School of Performing Arts Bands and composer Omar Thomas come to Harvey S. Firestone CLC Friday February 20th for a concert at 7:30. Hope to see you there!

Omar Thomas will be in residency at The University of Akron School of Performing Arts February 18-23, 2026.

Thomas is an acclaimed composer, educator, and advocate whose innovative work spans jazz and classical genres, earning him international recognition and numerous prestigious awards. His music, lauded for its emotional clarity and cultural impact, is performed worldwide by premier ensembles and has established him as a leading voice in contemporary orchestral jazz.

During his residency, Thomas will conduct several educational workshops and clinics, including a day session and public concert with Akron Public Schools - Akron School of The Arts - Firestone CLC Band:
