Meet Summa volunteer, David Hoppe. While David is a newer Summa volunteer with 3-years of service, his dedication to servant leadership is nothing new. David volunteers in multiple roles; for special projects, simulation labs, the detox unit, with Summa’s Organizational Development and training team, and he is a greater Akron community volunteer.

David is the 2026 Mary Ann Deveny Award for Distinguished Volunteer Service winner and was recently awarded this honor during Summa's Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon.
