Kids va. Adults, not a fair fight at a brewery.

A quick stop on the way to our annual Festival of the Lights at Oglebay. The kids loved running around and the pigs and we loved the Keller Pils and the Baltic Porter :)

Congratulations on surviving 2020! Here to 2021 not killing us either!

Serious props to the brewmaster. Brewed our schwartz bier 3 months ago. Let it lager for what seemed like forever. But man has it paid off! Got to do a side by side tasting with a local craft brewery’s schwartz bier and it holds its own! I honestly couldn’t tell who’s was who’s when handed both in a blind taste test. Best lockdown skill ever.

Wonder what going to a brewery without a patio during a pandemic with kids looks like? Wonder no more! Can runs at Headtrip Brewery and Hop Tree Brewing with fine dining in the parking lot =)

This is a few weeks late but visited the UP Michigan. Might be one of my favorite places made sweeter by beer! Stopped by Bière de Mac Brew Works on our way over the bridge. And Rusted Spoke Brewing Co. and The Highway Brewing Co. on our way home. But the local grocery store had a great choice of local brews on hand too! The surprise beer of the week, Short’s local light with lime.

Wandered out for our first beer on a patio. Not gonna lie, it felt wonderful! Helps that Baffin Brewing Company​ kept everything clean and safe AND the Splash Sour Series: Pink Guava Soursop was unbelievable. I couldn't of picked a better beer to break our patio draught. We also tried the Wicked Smart NEIPA and brought home a 6 Pack Mango Unchained IPA. Then headed over to Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria and Brewery Detroit​ to grab some bottles. Miss having the sit at the bar flight sampling experience but sitting at home with the Apocolocynposis with Guava, Passion Fruit and Lime was so good it made it a little better. We also got Bam Noire but that will have to wait for another night. Rona may of slowed us down but it's not gonna stop us =)

Trying out the new baracade. Overkill? Not when you have children that touch fire rings! And all this fruit means only one thing, basil lime pale ale time!!! Also can’t let all that citrus go to waste so we made lime-lemon-grapefruit-aid! Now we’re ready for summer!
