Deliciously Different Homemade Ice Cream Strickland's Frozen Custard was founded in 1936 by Bill and Florence Strickland. In 2002, Strickland’s Marketing Corp.
During his years as an Akron Pure Milk employee, Bill developed his own rich recipe of cream, eggs, sugar and other ingredients. With his formula perfected, Bill turned his attention to finding an ice cream machine that would quickly freeze the ice cream, while limiting the air whipped into the product. Gus has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and has the opportunity for life-changing treatments. We’re hosting a raffle at Strickland’s of Fairlawn to help raise money toward his medical expenses.
There are some great prizes, including:
• A Strickland’s basket with gift card, apparel, toppings, cones, and a birthday party for up to 15 kids
• A grill basket with Cuisinart items, grill tools, spices, and more
• A picnic basket with gift cards, picnic items, snacks, wine, and more
• Fairlawn/Akron favorites with gift cards and donations from local businesses including DeCheco’s Pizza, Arnones, and Farmers Rail
Raffle tickets are:

We are currently experiencing a power outage and will have a delayed opening today, as electricity is required to operate our ice cream equipment.
We plan to open as soon as power is restored and operations are up and running. Updates will be shared here as they become available.
