Custom type face and all. Incredible new branding for Premier Jumping League (PJL). Kudos to Not Wieden+Kennedy in the UK on the design work. Visual inspiration was a "rail". Yeah, that thing we're all trying to jump over and keep up that is light as a darn feather at 1.60m!

You can communicate with a 1,300 pound animal through the subtlest shift of your weight. But ask you to explain what you do to a potential client and suddenly nobody's home.

I see this constantly in the equine world. Incredibly skilled trainers, therapists, and coaches who are fully booked by word of mouth. Until they aren't. And then they're invisible, because they never built a presence that works when they're not in the room.

Your website, your social profiles, your Google listing are working for you at 2am when someone in your county is searching for exactly what you offer. Dead pages and no website means you simply don't exist to them.

You don't have to be a clever marketing guru. But you do have to show up somewhere other than the barn. If you're ready to change that, let's talk.

Marketing is a contact sport.

Some of you have never really stepped onto the field. You're incredible at what you do and you're counting on people to just figure that out. They won't. Visibility is not accidental and word of mouth has a ceiling.

Some of you did step out. You posted for a while, put up a website, maybe tried some ads. And then the crickets got loud and you quietly retreated. I get it. It's demoralizing when the effort doesn't seem to match the return.

But here's the tough love. Neither of you gets a pass.

Marketing doesn't work on your timeline. It works on a compound timeline. Every post, every search result, every profile that clearly explains what you do is a small deposit. The return isn't always immediate. But the people who keep showing up are the ones who get found when it matters.

Your online presence is working for you or it isn't. There is no neutral. A dusty website and a social page that hasn't been touched in eight months is not just doing nothing. It's actively telling people you're not serious.

You don't have to do everything. But you have to do something, consistently, and stay in the game long enough for it to count.

I just wrapped up this branding project for Ignite Your Encore and I could not be more pleased with how it came together.

The goal was to create a brand that feels warm, grounded, and like a spark emerging from centeredness. Ignite Your Encore is a premium space for high-achieving women navigating significant identity-level transitions.

This is the kind of work I love to build. Thoughtful strategy. Cohesive design. A visual ecosystem that bridges the gap between high-performance brain science and intuitive energy work.

Differentiation is not a design choice. It’s a marketing spine.

Most brands are struggling not because their logo is wrong. They’re struggling because they haven't picked a lane.

They want premium buyers with bargain behavior.
They want “iconic” but only if it feels familiar and comfortable.

That is not strategy.

What we are.

Who we are for.

If you’re trying to be liked by everyone, you’ll be remembered by no one.
