June is PTSD Awareness Month—a time not just to acknowledge, but to educate, de-stigmatize, and support real paths to healing.

Tonight at our 5:30 PM American Legion Post 26 Aiken Sc class, we’ll offer a trauma-informed sound bath designed to support the nervous system, ease chronic stress, and offer space for deep restoration.

🔊 Why Sound?
Sound therapy taps into the body’s natural ability to regulate and restore. The vibrations from instruments like crystal bowls or chimes for example, can help shift brainwave states, reduce hypervigilance, and create a sense of safety—especially powerful for those navigating PTSD.

📚 Backed by Science:
✨ A 2016 study (J Evid Based Integr Med) found that just one session of sound meditation significantly reduced tension, anger, anxiety, and fatigue.
✨ Frontiers in Psychology (2020) highlights how sound healing improves vagal tone and parasympathetic response—crucial in trauma recovery.

🌿 YOU GOT THIS. 🌿
Yes, you. Even on the heavy days. Especially on the heavy days.

This isn’t just a feel-good quote —it’s a mantra we can live and breathe. It's a reminder rooted deeply in yoga philosophy: "Sankalpa"—a heartfelt intention, a guiding truth.

In yoga, we learn that our words shape our world. The things we repeat—about our bodies, our abilities, our worth—they take root. That’s why choosing to affirm you got this isn’t fluff. It’s practice. It’s power. It’s choosing to rewrite the story in real-time.

For anyone walking through self-doubt, feeling not enough, or questioning your strength—this is your reminder:
