Edward Phillips is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from Aiken, South Carolina. A self-taught musician with a deeply rooted passion for American root

s music, he moves effortlessly between genres, from traditional bluegrass and early blues to classic rock and heavy metal. Edward first picked up a guitar at age nine after discovering rock music, with Jimi Hendrix becoming a major early inspiration. Growing up on a steady diet of bluegrass, he later dove into the blues during high school through Cream, early Eric Clapton, and Hendrix. His father played a pivotal role, introducing him to the instrument and naming him after Eddie Van Halen. Over the years, his influences have expanded to include The Beatles, Freddie King, Robert Johnson, and Son House. In addition to performing, Edward specializes in prewar blues and runs an educational YouTube channel dedicated to preserving and discussing the legacies of early blues masters. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. As the band’s lead guitarist, lead vocalist, and pianist, Edward brings dynamic energy, technical skill, and soulful expression to every performance. His wide-ranging musical vocabulary and heartfelt delivery help shape the band’s distinctive sound with authenticity, power, and genuine feel. Carol Lopez is an in-the-pocket bassist from Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in the City of Angels, she developed a deep love for music early on through her father, a recording engineer and musician. She picked up her first bass at the age of seven and never looked back. A true musical chameleon, Carol moves effortlessly between genres including jazz, blues, classic rock, and funk. Drawing inspiration from legends such as Yes, The Beatles, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Jaco Pastorius, she brings a dynamic and soulful presence to every project. She honed her craft at Citrus Community College and Mt. San Antonio College, majoring in Bass Performance and Music Theory. She later earned her degree in Audio Engineering from Sound Master Recording Engineering School in Alhambra, California. As the band’s bassist and vocalist, Carol anchors their sound with deep, driving bass lines and powerful, soulful vocals. She delivers every song with raw energy, unstoppable groove, and authentic passion, giving the music its solid foundation and emotional heart. Stuart Stahr is a seasoned drummer and percussionist with decades of experience performing, recording, and touring across the United States. Originally a staple of the New York City music scene, he is known for his deep grooves, musical sensitivity, and versatility. Stuart brings a powerful yet nuanced feel to every stage and studio session. Over the course of his career, he has worked with a wide range of acclaimed artists, including Sue Foley, Debbie Davies, Amanda Shaw, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Michael Hill, and Gil Parris. His work spans jazz, blues, roots, rock, and Americana, reflecting a deep respect for songcraft and musical storytelling. In addition to his extensive touring and recording career, Stuart is an accomplished educator and mentor, sharing his knowledge and passion for rhythm with musicians of all levels. Whether driving a high-energy rock set or adding subtle texture to an acoustic performance, he consistently elevates the music around him. Stuart provides the rhythmic foundation that powers the band’s live shows and recordings, helping bring their songs to life with authenticity, energy, and heart.
