The Vortex Vipers are an AAU Volleyball club. We are an East Union based club.
(Located in Afton, IA) We welcome all athletes that do not have a school club and would like extra off season touches to join!
Can’t wait to see everyone tonight!! Be at the EU concourse between 6-6:30pm and we will go till 8pm! Bring a bag of candy to add to the treats!!

What. A. Season. Here is a fun recap of what State looked like for our qualifiers!
11th Grade made it to the Gold bracket- lost in the first round. An improvement from last year!
8th Grade made it to the Gold bracket - lost in the first round. Great improvement from the tournaments!
7th Grade made it to the Bronze bracket and loss in the championship! Oddly enough same results as last year!
5th Grade made it to the Bronze bracket - lost in the first round! Huge improvement for this team!!
Come and celebrate with us on Monday, April 20th as all team come together as a club to close out the season! It will be at 6:30-8pm in the EU concourse. Coach Kayla will share financials and highlights from the year and what next year will look like! Then we have some fun things planned! This is for ALL teams 5th- 11th! See you then!!

Suns out☀️🏐, it’s a great day to having a skills camp!! Last call for this series of skills camp hosted by the Vortex Vipers!! There is still room in both Sunday and Saturday sessions! Who wants to learn from Coach Kayla (2nd-8th) and special guest Coach Bre (9th-11th) all about serving!? Ps you do not have to be a Vortex Viper to attend!
Coach Kayla was a top server in college and still holds many records! Come improve your serve, strengthen the velocity, learn to top spin, learn how to float, and/or introduce a jump serve into your bag of tricks! All being taught by some of the best instructors around!!
This camp is for all! So sign up now! $30 for Sunday 3pm-4pm (that’s today! 3/29) 2nd through 6th grade and $30 for Monday (tomorrow 3/30) 6pm-8pm for 7th though 11th grade!

👏🏻What 👏🏻 A 👏🏻 Season!! Congratulations to ALL of our Viper teams on a great 2026 AAU season! This weekend wraps up the final weekend of tournaments before State! *Not pictured is our 11th grade team- hopefully we can get one of them all together soon!!
