The 2019 Monkey Island Fireworks display will be Saturday, July 6 at Shangri-La Resort Hotel. The fireworks will be visible from both land and water. They will be shot from a staging area in the parking lot of the public boat ramp between Shangri-La Chateaus and Shangri-La’s Champions 2 & 3 golf holes.
In addition to the fireworks display, there will be music, a vintage aircraft air show, and lots of fun activities for kids. There is no charge to attend the event, but committee remembers remind everyone that generous contributions to the Monkey Island Fireworks is what enables them to put on a great show for all!
Parking will be at Shangri-La Hotel, Eddy’s Lakeside Bar, and Shangri-La Marina. If you’re not watching by boat, the “Grand Lawn” in front of Shangri-La Hotel should be a great spot. Bring a lawn chair and join the fun.
Monkey Island Fireworks Committee members include Jon Davidson, Peggy Howard, Doug Smith and Mike Williams.
As always, your donations make this show happen, so please give generously.

Storm damage has caused temporary closure until further notice.
WEATHER/SEASON UPDATE:
The Landings Marina and AquaBar & Grill will be closed until further notice due to yesterday's severe weather damage.
We hate that this has come just before the lake season starts. But we are happy to report that no one was hurt.
Be sure to visit us up the hill at the airport/Landings Market & Grill.
We will keep you updated as new information comes.

We laid to rest one of our staff today Kayla Geier-Mercer at the young age of 18. She always had a smile on her face, was such a hard worker and full of life.
We have a funeral fund set up at Oklahoma State Bank on Monkey Island or you can drop off a donation to Barbara or Paul at the store.
